Weather Information and Guide for Visiting Lisbon Portugal
Lisbon generally experiences a Mediterranean climate, with distinct seasons of hot, sunny summers and cold winters. The city benefits from a cooling Atlantic breeze that provides a nice relief from the scorching sun in the summer months.
Rain is fairly common during the winter months in Lisbon, and coupled with the cold weather it can mean the city has very few visitors. This is a great time to visit, as many Lisbon’s top attractions are relatively quiet with fewer crowds.
My favourite time to visit Lisbon is during the spring months of April and May when the weather is warm, the days are long, and it’s sunny and dry.
